The legacy of bourbon is as important as the name behind it, and the history of that name is the foundation of its reputation. There is nothing more important to the history of bourbon as the name on the bottle. Louisville’s long relationship with those names puts Angels Envy in a league of its own; a new bourbon challenging the quality of Kentucky’s oldest favorites.
Located on historic whisky row, the new distillery and tasting center for Lincoln Henderson’s new generation of bourbon is the perfect marriage of the rich history of Kentucky and the new modern era of bourbon. The vision for the new visitors center physical izes that unique combination of old and modern top shelf bourbon.
The new addition to the American Vermont building pays homage to Kentucky’s black tobacco barns scattered across the state. The corten steel frame translates the classic barn into a canopy that protects the outdoor space. Visitors can enjoy tours of the distilling process and experience the bourbon for them selves in the tasting lounge as they look out on the Louisville skyline.
